But until I witnessed it, I truly did not know. The poverty in Haiti is not only extreme, it is widespread. From east to west to north to south, the poverty always stares you cold in the face. My heart broke not just once, but literally thousands of times.However, with all I experienced in Haiti, what I will remember most about this country are the beautiful people.
