FACES OF IRAN
Wandering through cultures across continents, I’ve come to recognize a quiet, persistent truth: the stories we inherit about others—especially those we’ve never met—are often shadows of reality. Nowhere is this more evident than in how the world perceives Iran.
Faces of Iran was born from a desire to strip away the noise. Each portrait is a meditation: a close-up encounter rendered against a field of black, where no background can distract, no context can distort. Only light, shadow, and face remain.
In these silent frames, something sacred emerges. A wrinkle. A gaze. A breath caught in stillness. Each detail whispers a truth too often ignored—Iranian souls are not abstractions or headlines, but luminous, unrepeatable beings. Singular. Sacred. Alive.
This work invites you not just to look, but to see.
