L-O-V-E is a simple word we use a great deal every day. We love pizza, our new car, that new TV show, our house, etc. But what about the deep, true love experienced in a dedicated marriage? Have you ever met a couple and they were so in tune, through thick and thin, and you thought, what’s their secret?
I photographed couples in love at their own personal ‘love nest’ (e.g., homes). As I tracked from nest to nest, I found love does indeed exist in this day and age of struggles with very few role models. Each couple was so different and interesting, but no matter the clothes worn, the stories shared, the circumstances behind the marriage, I was struck by the idea that love knows no boundaries – no matter who we meet in life, if we fully love from the heart, we will recognized that we are more alike than we know. We are all cut from the same wonderful mold.
